Le Tigre is a hand carved 3-D sculpture that is meant to be a wall hung piece. She was designed to look curious and bold and her eyes give you a window into her soul. The background is a metal board and her face and body are made of carved concrete that extends about 3-4" off the metal board. She is colored with inks, powders and acrylics and her whiskers are my son's guitar strings. I used mixed media to achieve this one of a kind piece!! I intended for her to withstand some weather conditions so she can be hung in a Leni or 3 seasons room. She also can be used for commercial or residential enjoyment.
